2009. On June 18th, 2008 Amy was crowned among family and friends during Nebraska’s Official State Celebration, NEBRASKAland Days in North Platte! She won personality, speech, written test,
photogenics, appearance and the coveted horsemanship award.
Amy is a Nebraska cowgirl through and through, raised on a ranch nestled among the pine ridges of Northwestern Nebraska. She is proud to call Chadron home sweet home! Amy is the 24 year old daughter of Ron and Althea Amack.
When not working on the ranch you can find Amy helping with the animals at the Chadron Veterinary Clinic, teaching kids at the Boys and Girls Club of Chadron, or finishing deer mounts in her father’s taxidermy shop. In her spare time she enjoys
spendi ng time with family, friends, her horse Special, and her Jack Russell Terriers. Amy finds scrapbooking, dancing, cooking, and traveling irresistible!

2008 Miss Teen Rodeo Nebraska
Kristin Kohmetscher
Kristin Kohmetscher was crowned 2008 Miss Teen Rodeo Nebraska. The MTRN
pageant was held during NEBRASKAland Days in North Platte and on Wednesday
morning of the contest, Kristin was crowned in front of her family and
friends. She won the areas of written test, photogenic, speech, and the
personality awards. Since being crowned she has spent her weekends
attending rodeos, county fairs, and various other events promoting her
passion.
