Guidelines: 
Applicants for the Miss Rodeo Nebraska Pageant must be unmarried women who are not less than 19 years of age nor more than 26 years of age at the time of competition for the title of Miss Rodeo America in December of 2009.

Judging:
Pageant contestants will be judged by three experienced judges and will complete in four main categories-General Knowledge, Horsemanship, Personality, and Appearance. General Knowledge will be judged by a written set of questions regarding rodeo, horsemanship, current events etc. Horsemanship will require completion of two different horsemanship patterns. Personality will be judged during a live speech written by each contestant focusing on her state, several personal interviews, and impromptu questions in public settings. Appearance will be judged during all phases of competition in regard to appropriate western dress and how the contestant conveys her personality through her appearance.

Deadline:
A $200.00 entry fee is required to  enter the pageant. Deadline for applications is April 1.

Crowning:
Miss Rodeo Nebraska 2009 will be crowned June 2008 during the Wednesday evening performance of the Buffalo Bill Rodeo. The winner and runners up will receive various awards and scholarships worth over $5000.

Miss Teen Rodeo Nebraska Pageant 2008 

Contestants for the Miss Teen Rodeo Nebraska title must be entering the 9th - 12th grade the fall semester after the pageant and be a permanent resident living at home with a parent or legal guardian during her reign. Contestants will be judged in the following categories: appearance, horsemanship, personality, speech, photogenic quality, and congeniality. The winner and runners up will receive various awards.
